Built by the Darby family but considerably altered and now mainly mid/late C19.
Brick school building, with plain tiled roof with gabled ends with ornamental barge-
boards. Two storeys. Four bays. Two-light mullion/transom casements with glazing
bars in segmental-headed chamfered openings with moulded, brick rectangular dripmoulds.
Brick stacks over end gables.
