Though now largely Victorian, the core is probably late C13. Irregular
plan and elevations owing to refashioning. Stone with tiled roof and
brick stacks; 2 storeys and 2 storeys and attic; fenestration mainly C19
Gothic; various blocked medieval doorways and windows; exposed ceiling
beams. Part of the medieval roof survives.
