Queen Anne mansion in attractive park with lakes and conifers; long imposing
front to west overlooking the Severn. Red brick with stone dressings;
2 storeys; sash windows in moulded stone architraves; attic pediments
of projections either side of entrance to east probably C19 and the balustrade
in the centre raised. Facades somewhat spoilt by absence of glazing bars
to windows. Large panelled entrance hall. Later Georgian staircase.
Large C19 office and stable wing, "Elizabethan" in style with mullioned
lattice casement and tall "Tudor" stacks.
