Balustraded retaining wall, 1904, by Sir Ernest George and Yates. Squared and coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings and balustrade. Approximately 100 metres long and 2 metres high, curving to gazebo (qv) at south. Balustrade with turned balusters and square piers; four flights of balustraded steps to west.
