Farmhouse. Early C18; later alterations. Squared and coursed limestone;
stone-coped double-gabled stone slate roof; moulded stone ashlar end stacks,
double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Brick segmental arch and
surrounds to C20 two-light casement above C19 central four-panelled door with
Welsh slate pentice. Similar brick architraves to C20 three-light casements; two
roof dormers with similar casements. Early C18 outshut to right of similar
materials: outshut to left replaced in C19. Similar rear elevations. Interior:
C18 panelled doors with hinges. Early C18 dog-leg with winder stairs, from first
floor to attic, has turned balusters on closed string. Butt-purlin roof. An
early example of a double-depth farmhouse.
