Gateway. c.1733-40 by William Kent. Limestone ashlar with chamfered rustication.
Pedimented Palladian-style gateway with 6-panelled door is flanked by ramped
walls with marble statues in niches. Visitors entered the gardens through this
gateway. Forms a part of the landscape gardens laid out by William Kent
c.1733-40.
