House, Probably late C14, with C15 addition to rear of cross-wing, and C17
addition to end of cross-king to rear. Render, probably on timber-framing; large
timber-framing to end of cross-wing to right, having cross-bracing to first
floor panels, and rendered infill; old plain-tile roof; stone-based brick end
stack to left; brick lateral stack to right return of cross-wing. 2-storey,
2-window main range, with 5-bay cross-wing to right. 2-panel door to right of
main range having C20 wood surround and flat hood, 8-pane unhorned sash to
ground floor left. Two 3-light wood mullion and transom windows to ground floor
end of crass-wing. Horizontal sash to first floor left of main range. 4-pane
casement to first floor right of main range. 3-light casement to first floor
centre of end of cross-wing. Braced crown-post roof truss to gable end of
cross-wing, C15 cusped bargeboards to gable end of cross-wing. Right return of
cross-wing. Large timber-framing with angled braces to first floor. Left return
of main range: full-cruck truss and projection of bread oven. Interior not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
