Block of 4 dwellings. Circa 1850 for the 2nd Earl of Radnor. Cotswold
vernacular style. Similar to the other estate cottages but on a larger
scale. Rubble stone with stone dressings and a gabled stone tiled roof with
stone ridge stacks. Nos. 5 and 6 are at right angles to the road with
roadside gables, No. 7 faces the road and No.8 is tacked onto the end at
right angles to the road. The stepped plan makes a pleasing interplay of
planes. 2 storeys with 2- and 3-light plain mullioned windows with 8-pane
casements. Gabled porches with plank doors to Nos. 5, 7 and 8. No. 6 has
an integral porch.
