Monument. Late medieval and probably C17 erected outside the Town Hall in 1955. Stone Pillar eight feet in height with a moulded base and moulded capital placed on a weathered stone said to be part of a medieval wayside cross. The pillar is one of nine from the original market hall which was replaced by Repton's building in 1842.
