Farmhouse. c.1820. Probably by Thomas Rickman. Marlstone ashlar; artificial
stone-slate roofs and marlstone-ashlar stacks with moulded caps. Double-depth
plan with secondary wings. C17 style. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of
main range has 3-light stone-mullioned windows with labels flanking a projecting
gabled central bay containg a Tudor-arched entrance below a single-light window.
End walls have further mullioned windows and there are stepped diagonal angle
buttresses and moulded gable parapets. A long parallel range, now all of 2
storeys, is set back to left and has further mullioned windows. Rear has 2 wings
and various gables. Interior not inspected.
