Farmhouse. Early C17, with late C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled concrete tile roof, hipped to right in late C19; C18 brick left end
stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; irregular 3-window range. Central mid C19
four-panelled door set in moulded C19 doorcase with bracketed flat hood. Timber
lintels over C20 two-light casement to left and over door; label moulds over C17
four-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned window to left and 2-light rebated
flat-faced stone-mullioned window to right, on first floor. Late C19 gabled roof
dormer. Hood mould over 3-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned window to rear.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. Subsidiary features:
stables and granary block to left of coursed limestone rubble, with gabled stone
slate roof; ovolo-moulded plaque to front and timber lintels over door and 2
windows to rear; stone steps to plank granary door in left gable; interior has
chamfered beams with roll stops and collar truss with butt purlins.
