House. C16 and C17. Coursed ironstone rubble with thatched roof. 2 brick
stacks: one on right gable end the other on ridge third form left end.
Ironstone quoins on north end. 3-unit plan. Original single-cell cottage
of c.1575 was extended in C17 to form plan of kitchen, hall and parlour.
Single storey plus attic. Entrance at rear into C20 porch. Elevation to road
has 4-window range. All windows are C20 casements with wooden lintels. South
end has a 3-light stone mullioned window with hood mould and label stops.
South side has a 3-light wooden mullioned window, now painted white to attic
storey. All other windows are 2 and 3-light C20 casements with
wooden lintels. Interior: Cellar under present kitchen. Raised cruck
construction in south bedroom.
