Pumping station. Rebuilt 1897. by Norwich Corporation. Red brick with
blue brick plinth and corners. Plain tiles. Single storey. 6 bays to
east elevation: recessed bays with segmental arches and block-band
above. Windows (boarded-up at the time of re-survey) in alternate bays.
Door in 3 bay north elevation. Ogee and roll-moulded brick stringcourse.
Overhanging eaves. Hipped with gablet roof. 2 gable dormers. Decora-
tive ridge-tiles. 1912 flood level plaque. Contains pneumatic ejection sewage
pump and gear, only other example in Houses of Parliament.
