Former Bank now office. Dated 1903 by G.J. Skipper. Faience. Roof not
visible. 4 storeys. 2 bays. C20 glazing in the wider left-hand bay.
Recessed door to the right with heavy consoles with putti supporting
balcony. Shield and oval window above door. Bowed mullion and transome
windows to first and 2nd floors with swag and wreaths at floor level.
Narrow single-light windows to right-side. Festooned capitals beneath
wide cornice fascia. Large lunette above bay window with deep hollow
chamfer. Curvilinear gable with central statue of a seated scribe.
Pinnacle central to gable and square turret with dome to right.
