Farmhouse, c.1763, and later. Built of brick, colourwashed brick and pantiles.
'L' shaped plan of 2 storeys, extended to west with single storey range.
Facade to north a C19 refront of 8 bays. Central raised and fielded 6 panel
door and 'Gibbsian' doorcase with rusticated architrave, key blocks and
pediment. Blind windows alternate with windows at first floor and at ground
floor to west. Mid C19 sashes with glazing bars and segmental brick arches.
Parapet gables with end stacks and brick tumbling in to west. Central axial
stack. Plat band at first floor level at rear. South wing of 2 windows.
East facade C19, with raised and fielded 6 panel door with fanlight with radial
glazing bars. Doorcase with panelled reveals, reeded pilasters and entablature
with patera blocks and projecting cornice. Sash window with margin lights,
glazing bars, and segmental brick arch. Sash windows with glazing bars and
flat brick arches at first floor level. End stack. Interior mainly C19 but
with C18 2 panel doors and raised and fielded 6 panel doors. Georgian corner
cupboard with 6 panel door, apsidal interior with curved shelves. C19 stair-
case with square balusters and swept handrail.
