Former stables and servants' quarters, now National Trust conservation work-
shop and visitors' accommodation, c.1620. Red brick with stucco dressings.
Steeply-pitched plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. West facade of 14
bays; bays 3, 6, 9 and 12 have Dutch gables with moulded brick base corbels.
3-light ovolo-moulded mullion windows with leaded glazing and iron casements.
Transoms to first floor windows. 2-light attic casements in gables.
Semicircular-headed door openings with plain stuccoed pilasters on plinth.
Dutch gables to north and south. At the north end, 2-light basement openings
with iron bars. One the east side, two large external chimney stacks with
five diagonally-set shafts. Irregular fenestration on east facade. Interior:
contains staircase c.1700 re-set from Drury House, Great Yarmouth. Interior
much rebuilt after extensive fire damage 1874.
