Farmhouse. C17 and later. Red brick in English bond on flint plinth.
Thatched roof, steeply-pitched. Two storeys and attics, L-shaped. East
elevation of four bays: 3-light casements with transoms, segmental heads to
ground floor openings. 2-storey gabled porch off-centre to left, elliptical
entrance arch with cross-casement above. Tumbling-in to gable parapet. Crow-
stepped south gable with internal chimney stack; twin square chimney shafts,
rebuilt. Small 2-light mullioned windows to attic and first floor; one first
floor window replaced by C20 casement. Axial stack off-centre to north with
twin square shafts and linked top. Parapeted north gable with tumbling-in:
ground floor canted bay with hipped plaintiled roof, false attic casement
painted-on. West range later, internal stack on parapeted gable. Pantiled
lean-to's at west gable and in north-west angle.
