House. early C19, with C17 wing to rear. Brick and rendered timber frame.
Hipped glazed black pantile roof and pantile roof. C19 3-cell plan with C17
2-cell lobby entrance type plan to rear. Regular brick facade of 3 bays. 2
storeys. 16 pane sash windows. Central porch with pilasters and moulded flat
hood; 6 panel door, top 2 panels glazed; panelled reveals. Sash to either side
of door under segmental arch. 3 sashes to first floor, the centre window of 12
panes. Plain brick cornice. 2 stacks to rear wall of this range, enclosed by
narrow linking bay to earlier range of 2 bays, 2 storeys. C20 glass lean-to
across ground floor. C20 windows to upper floor. Shallow C19 pitched roof with
massive central axial stack with drip-mould, the lower courses of C17 brick.
Interior: Rear wing timber frame exposed. Heavy chamfer to tranverse beam,
elaborately carved stops; principal post carved with debased capital, respond
probably carved later in imitation.
