Costessey Lodge
II
Formerly known as Easton Lodge circa 1830 with C20 extension to side. Probably by
J C Buckler. Red brick and moulded gault brick with slate roof. Gothic revival house
of L plan with polygonal turret in re-entrant angle. One and 1/2 storeys with steep-pitch-
ed roofs and tall moulded and crenellated chimneys. 2 moulded gault brick arched and
cusped mullion and transom windows on ground floor. Other windows single light and
cusped. Triangular moulded gault brick oriel window and triangular external chimney
stack also moulded gault brick. Pinnacles on main and dormer gables. Formerly one
of lodges to Costessey Hall.
