Farmhouse, C17. Timber frame between brick and flint gable ends. Rear wall
rendered and colourwashed, front wall faced in white-washed brick, C18.
Steeply pitched thatched roof. Two storeys, lobby entrance plan. Principal
facade to south: irregular fenestration of 2,3 and 4-light casements with
leaded glazing set in chamfered brick reveals. Segmental arched heads to
ground floor opening. Entrance offset to west with six-panel door, the two
upper panels glazed. Simple moulded wooden doorcase with flat canopy.
Segmental headed doorway with ledged and boarded door, left hand side.
Parapeted gables with large external chimney stacks. Chimney stack on ridge
line opposite entrance door. On the north side, a pantiled gabled wing of
colourwashed brick, 1½ storeys with single storey pantiled lean-to's on each
side.
