Conservatory. Circa 1860s, moved from Mannington Hall,
Itteringham (qv) in 1904-5. Wood and glass with cast-iron piers,
on brick plinth and with earlier English bond brick rear wall.
Rectangular plan of 3 bays and 2 spans.
South front of 3 bays with mullions and transoms and vertical
glazing bars with lapped glass panes. The twin gabled east and
west ends have ball finials and both vertical and horizontal
glazing bars to rectangular panes. Doorway on west end. The rear
north wall extends to west where there is a segmental-headed
doorway.
Interior: The moulded arcade plate to central valley is supported
on 3 thin cast-iron columns with fluted pedestals and composite
capitals and ornate pierced spandrels with arabesques.
