Circa 1600 brick house added to on south and north in 1831 and 1845 in red
brick in Tudor style and with later C19 additions. Situated on moated site,
moat partly dry. The circa 1600 block is 2 storeys and attic, red brick,
steep slated roof with crow-stepped gable ends with moulded brick chimneys
with octagonal flues with star-caps. Only the east and west ends of this
range are visible, the north and south sides having been built onto. Each
end has 2 restored pedimented windows per floor and smaller attic windows
with dripmoulds.
