Farmhouse. C15, altered during C18; C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with
C20 artificial slate roof. Rectangular, possibly longhouse plan, aligned
north-west/south-east facing south-west, entrance to north-west of centre
with further entrance in south-west gable end; gable-end stacks and main
axial stack. Single storey and attic; south-west front: two C20 gabled
dormers with 2-light C20 glazing bar casements, one similar C20 window to
left and three similar windows to right of doorway with C20 half-glazed
door. Interior reveals one cruck truss (possibly one other also survives);
stone winder staircase encased in wood to north-west gable end. Included
on account of plan form and surviving early core.
