House. Early C17 with late C18 extension to left and C20 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble; gabled thatch roof; stone ridge (originally end) stack
finished in C20 brick, stone right end stack, finished in late C19/C20 brick,
and late C18 brick left end stack. 2-unit lobby-entry plan, extended to 3-unit
plan. One-storey-and-attic, 3-window range, extended by 2-storey one-window
range. Gabled C20 projection (houses bathroom) above C20 door in second bay from
right; C20 dormer with hipped roof to left. Timber lintel over C20 door to
lobby-entry on left. Timber lintels over 2 early C17 three-light ovolo-moulded
wood-mullioned windows, and late C18/early C19 three-light casement above C20
window in C18 left bay. To rear are timber lintels over similar 3-light window
with original leaded lights, and 3-light window with 2 diamond-set wood mullions
set in heavy pegged chamfered surround. Interior: chamfered beams in end rooms.
Central room has stop-chamfered beams and large chamfered arched stone lintel
over open fireplace.
