Farmhouse. C17, remodelled late C18; datestone 1801 set in stack of right range.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick end stacks. 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Chamfered timber lintels over late
C19 four-panelled door with gabled hood, and over 5-light casements. Similar
range to left, of 2-storey, 2-window, range, has 3-light casements, brick end
stack, and gabled roof dormer with 2-light casement. Mid C18 one-storey service
extension to rear of squared and coursed limestone with gabled red tiled roof.
Interior not inspected but 1975 report (by P. Spokes F.S.A.) details C17 beams
on both floors with double-leaf chamfer stops. Service extension has pitched
stone floor.
