60m. NNE of farmhouse

GV II*

Barn. Late medieval; extended in C18. Cruck-framed. Weatherboard over timber
frame on limestone rubble plinth; gabled corrugated iron roof. 7-bay plan with
central threshing floor. Interior: 4 full crucks each with arch-braced collar
and saddled apex; trenching for 2 levels of purlins. End walls and collar
trusses with butt purlins built in C18.
