Farmhouse. c.1720, late C18 two-bay block to right of front. Coursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof; stone stacks finished in brick. Original three-unit plan.
Three storeys; five-window range. Section of mid C18 house to left has chamfered timber lintel over C19 six-panelled (four glazed) door with mid C20 porch; segmental brick arch over late C19 three-light casement, late C19 three-light and one-light and C20 casements to first floor. Late C18 block to right has segmental brick arches over six-pane sash, C20 French window, late C19 three-light casements on first floor. Gabled roof; gable end stack to late C18 block; similar stacks to mid C18 range, offset to exposed stack on right. Segmental brick: arches over C18 sash and late C19 three-light casement next to C18 stair-turret to rear. Early C18 one storey and attic block to rear, in similar materials with gabled and hipped roof; segmental brick arch over C18 sash, three-light casement and three late C19 one-light casements.
Interior: Stone flag floor. Late C19 six- and 4-panelled doors in moulded architraves, ribbed door in attic. Room to left has chamfered beam and early C18 chamfered stone fireplace with consoles to mantleshelf. Quarter turn stairs.
Five-bay collar truss roof with butt purlins. Ground-floor room of block to rear has reused C17 ovolo-moulded beam.
