Late C17 or early C18 former market building. Open ground floor with chamber
over, now Library. Hipped stone tiled roof with plain iron weathercock. Deep
bracketted eaves cornice. Roughcast first floor with 2 glazing bar sash windows
each end and one to south side. Ground floor stone Tuscan columns, 4 x 3.
Angles of east side have piers with pilaster responds.
