House, now public house. C17, remodelled in C18. Uncoursed limestone rubble,
mainly colourwashed: stuccoed rear gable wall of rear wing. Gabled and
half-hipped tile roof; brick ridge stack. 3-unit plan. One storey and attic;
3-window range. Timber lintels over C20 door to left, and C20 casements: C20
gabled dormer casements. Later C18 rear wing of one storey and attic; one-bay
range: right side wall has C20 door adjoining blocked doorway. Interior:
chamfered beans, and stop-chamfered beam to right. Winder stairs to front of
stepped stack. Closed timber truss to right.
