Early C19 red brick stable block. 2-storey centre with 1-storey projecting
wings. Hipped shallow pitched slate roofs. 3-window centre, glazing bar sash
windows in cambered head surrounds to sides, centre pedimented with arched
doorway set in wider arched recess, thermal window over in pediment. Wings with
arched headed doorways in inner sides and cambered head windows at ends. Blank
arcading to outer faces with arched windows. Rubble stone walling with brick
surrounds on west wing facing Faringdon House. Cast iron columns and C19 iron
stalls within.
