House. C17, probably incorporating earlier work, early C18 recasing to right. Render, probably on timber-framing to left; grey brick with red brick dressings to right; old plain-tile roof, hipped to higher C18 portion to right; brick ridge stack to centre, at junction of C17 and C18 work.

Two storeys and attic; two window range to left. Taller two storeys and attic to right, three window range to right, at right-angles to street.

Left: six-panel door with painted wood architrave surround and flat hood on richly carved brackets to centre. Horizontal sashes with painted wood surrounds and pulvinated frieze to cornice to left and right. Two wood leaded Ipswich windows with winged heads to keyblocks, to first floor left and right. Flat-roofed full dormer to centre. Right: fifteen-pane unhorned sashes with cambered heads to left and right. Blind panel to centre with cambered head. Flat brick band between ground and first floor. Twelve-pane unhorned sashes to first floor with cambered heads, except blind panel to right. Flat brick band and parapet to eaves. Hipped dormer with two-light casement. Left return: render, probably on timber-framing. Horizontal sash to right, stone two-light mullion window to left. Single-light casement to first floor. Tile-hanging to gable end with shaped and carved bargeboards and two-light casement.

Right return: grey brick with red brick dressings; old plain-tile hipped roof; brick end stack to right. Two storeys and attic; four-window range. Fifteen-pane unhorned sashes with thick glazing bars and cambered brick heads to ground floor, except that to right of centre has sash door to base. Flat brick band between ground and first floor. Twelve-pane unhorned sashes with cambered brick heads to first floor. Flat brick band and parapet to eaves. Two hipped dormers with two-light casements. Rear: large timber-framing with angle braces; rendered infill; old plain-tile roof. Irregular fenestration. Double queen-post roof truss to cross-gable to left.

Interior: C18 open well staircase with turned baluster balustrade, from ground floor to attic at rear right. Stone chequer floor to ground floor centre. Room of early C18 fielded panelling with moulded dado rail, wood dentil cornice and architrave door surrounds to ground floor right, richly carved early C18 Baroque white marble fireplace, with eared architrave surround to overmantel panel above. Fielded panelling to bedrooms to first floor right.
