Farmhouse. C17. Colourwashed limestone rubble and some rendered timber framing;
old plain-tile roof and brick ridge stack. 3-unit, lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys
plus attics. 3-window front, has plank door, to right of centre, 3-light
casements with arched lights, in the centre bay, 3-light C20 casements, in the
left bay, and a 2-light casement with iron small-pane lights at ground floor in
the right bay. Timber framing on upper part of right bay returns, tile-hung,
around gable wall. Roof is half-hipped to right and has a large brick stack in
line with door. Left gable has leaded attic casement. Rear has further C20
casements and is partly rebuilt where former rear wing was demolished. interior:
Large internal stack; butt-purlin roof.
