3 cottages now one house. Mid C18 with C20 alterations to central and right
parts. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Left cottage. Thatched roof, stone end
slack. Recessed middle cottage: C20-tile roof. Right cottage. C20-tile roof and
renewed stone end stack. Each of single-unit plan, 2 storeys and single-window
range. Entrance in central C20 porch. Front elevation has C20 windows and doors
throughout with painted wood lintels. Interior to left has inglenook fireplace
with bressumer. Marked on O.S. map as Abbey Cottage. Included for group value.
