Bridge, overshoot and footbridge, dated 183?, altered early and
late C20,c,1980. Dressed coursed rubble, ashlar, concrete and
iron. Overshoot with 2 stepped dressed coursed rubble and render
walls flanking the weir, over is a concrete footbridge with 3
concrete piers on each side and iron railings. Adjoining is the
early C20 ashlar parapet of the double arched bridge. The arches
are set into a slightly recessed panel inscribed "CB183?" with
band running over. There is a single central cutwater. Included
for group value only.
