Road bridge. 1871. Widened 1926. By M. O. Tarbotton. Cast
iron by Handyside of Derby, rockfaced ashlar and brick. 3 spans.
2 pointed cutwaters with clustered granite shafts. On each side,
ornate foliate corbel carrying canted pedestrian refuge with
blind arcading. Each segmental span has pierced spandrels,
dentillated sill, and pierced iron balustrade. Single lamp
standard in the centre of each bay. South east side has 3 half
round flood arches with moulded soffits. Each end has a pair of
square pylons with coats of Arms and moulded square caps. Curved
approach walls have heavy moulded string course and moulded
