Pigeoncote and attached stables. Mid and late C18. Central mid
C18 pigeoncote. Red brick. Plain tile roof. Brick coped crow
stepped gables with kneelers. Dogtooth eaves. 2 storeys plus
attic, single bay. Large archway with segmental arch now part
blocked and with doorway with stable door, flanked by single
small semi-circular openings. Above is a single square opening
and above a single arched panel with flight openings and 4 rows
of flight perches. The right gable has a similar single smaller
panel with shaped brick band below. The left gable has a similar
band with 2 rows of flight perches over. Attached to the right
and slightly projecting is a late C18 red brick stable block with
pantile roof, hipped at the right. Dogtooth eaves. Central
doorway with stable door under segmental arch. Either side are 2
small semi-circular openings. Above, single central opening with
wooden shutter and ashlar surround, flanked by single ashlar
openings each with single ashlar mullion. The left side of the
stable block with rounded corner. Attached to the left of the
pigeoncote is a further stable block. Mid C18. Red brick.
Concrete pantile roof. Dogtooth eaves. 2 storeys, 2 bays.
Doorway with stable door and overlight to the left is a single
flight of red brick and stone steps leading to a doorway on the
first floor with plank door.
