House, c.1860, probably by S.S. Teulon. Snecked stone with white brick quoins,
dressings brick or tooled-and-margined stone; slate roof. L-plan. Free Gothic
style. Irregular 14-storey, 3-bay elevations to east and south. East elevation
has central boarded door to No. 1 under steep-sided arch with raised keystone
and hoodmould; south elevation has boarded door (No. 2) under pointed arch in
bay 1. Scattered and varied fenestration includes canted bay (glazing renewed)
in bay 3 on south, and corbelled oriel over door on east; most windows small-
paned casements with stop-chamfered frames. Steeply-pitched roof with gables
and dormers. Irregular polygonal stone stack at north-east corner; ridge and
south-west corner stacks rebuilt in brick. Extruded outshut on north.
