Pair of houses. No. 11 mid C18 altered in C19, No. 12 c,190O. No. 11 coursed
stone with tooled-and-margined dressings, No. 12 rubble with cut dressings;
stone slate roofs. 2 storeys, 6 bays irregular. Vertical-panelled doors in
bays 3 (No.12) and 5 (No.ll). Late C19 sashes. All openings of No, 11 in
blocked surrounds. 2 stone ridge stacks, that to right widened in brick; stone
right end stack. Right return shows renewed 12-pane sash, 16-pane sash in
stone surround above, and reverse-stepped gable. Rear elevation of No, 11 shows
2 small C19 lst-floor windows, which lit the cells when this was a police station.
