House at rear later C19. Squared stone with tooled ashlar dressings; Lakeland
slate roof. Tudor Gothic style. 1 and 2 storeys, 3+1+3 bays, symmetrical.
Chamfered plinth. Projecting 2-storey gabled centre bay has 2-light mullioned
windows with inscribed panel between. Flanking 1-storey parts have similar
windows and projecting porches in end bays; renewed doors with overlights
under plain stone panels, gables breaking eaves line. All openings in recessed
chamfered surrounds with hoodmoulds, glazing renewed. Gables with serpentine
bargeboards and moulded finials. Overhanging eaves. 4 tall stepped and
corniced ridge stacks with conjoined shafts. Rear elevation shows 2-storey
house with renewed sashes in chamfered surrounds, and triple ridge stack.
