House, formerly Rectory. c. 1820. Brick, rendered and painted, with a shallow
pitch slate roof with over hanging eaves. 2 storey. 3 bay east front has plain
pilaster strips and a central doorway with a Doric columned porch. Eitherside
are single glazing bar sashes, with 3 similar sashes above. 4 bay south front
has 4 glazing bar sashes to the ground floor and 4 more to the first floor.
This house was built for the Rev. Francis Foxlow. Source. The History of Retford,
