6/14 Garden Terrace
to Ranby Hall

2 walled terraces, comprising walls, gate piers, urns, orbs,
gates. Late C18. Red brick, ashlar, render, coursed rubble and
wood. Extending from either side of the south front of the
house are single brick and rendered walls with ashlar coping.
Each having a single pair of rendered brick piers with ashlar
coping, single ashlar orbs, and single wooden door. The walls
continue, turn in at right angles, where they are topped with
ashlar urns decorated wih festoons, drop down and terminate in
square ashlar coped piers which flank a flight of 7 stone steps.
The piers are topped with large decorated flower containers. 14
metres south is a further coursed rubble wall with ashlar
coping. At either end of this and projecting northwards are low
rendered brick walls with ashlar coping. These meet the walls
projecting from the house. The east side bows out in the centre
and has an opening. Included for group value only.
