Manor house, c.1600 with C19 and C20 additions. Brick with
pantile roof. Stone plinth, stone dressings, brick and stone
first floor bands, stone eaves band, cogged eaves, tumbled coped
gables, plus kneelers, 2 gable stacks, 2 storeys plus garrets, L
plan. South front has off centre panelled door with leaded
overlight, flanked to left by C16 5 light chamfered mullion and
transom leaded window and to right by C19 canted gault brick bay
window above with French window and 2 fixed lights. Also a
central mullion and transom timber casement, flanked to left by
C16 5 light chamfered mullion and transom leaded window, and to
right by 3 light mullion and transom casement. Above again in
gable, 4 light C16 stone chamfered mullion window. West front
has elliptical arched chamfered stone doorway with C18 panelled
door with stone mullion and transom overlight, flanked to left by
C20 casement and beyond 5 light stone mullion and transom window;
above, C20 casements and blocked opening. North gable has, 5
light stone mullion and transom leaded window on either floor.
