Pair of houses, early to mid-C18. Squared stone with tooled dressings;
Welsh slate roof with one stack heightened and second rebuilt in brick.
3 storeys, 3 + 3 bays. Each house has central renewed door, in alternating-
block surround with narrow chamfer, flanked by 12-pane sashes (left renewed
in No. 5). 12-pane sash to right and shop window with cornice on carved
consoles to left in No. 7. Between houses C20 yard entrance. Upper windows
all 9-pane sashes; all windows have tooled lintels and sills. Coped right
gable with moulded kneeler and rebuilt stack; 1 ridge stack.
