Three houses, probably originally one building. Dated 1801, restored and
altered 1970s. Brick in Flemish bond with some grey headers, and weatherboard;
plain tile roof. 2 storeys; 7 bays, the central bay - with 2 first floor
windows, gabled and projecting slightly; parallel rear range. Central bay of
brick; the rest has brick on ground floor and painted weatherboard to first
floor. C20 casement windows, of 2 lights to central bay 3-lights to other bays,
with soldier-brick arches to brick sections. Central bay has C20 panelled door
flanked by windows, on first floor a blind recess flanked by windows, and in
gable a painted oval stone inscribed 'FORD'S/BUILDINGS/1801'. Outer bays:
right-hand range has 2 board doors; left-hand range has a 3rd window to ground
floor (of 2 lights) instead of a door (access at rear). Hipped roof with 3
brick ridge stacks. Included for group value.
