Designed by W J Donthorne in 1843 for Thomas Sheppard. Good example of
a Tudor-Gothic house. Built round an internal courtyard. The main portion
has 2 storeys and 3 windows facing north. Faced with knapped flints with
stone dressings and quoins. Castellated parapet. Centre window-bay projects
with gable over. Slate roof. Casement windows. Later extensions to south-west.
