C17 or earlier timber-framed building with herring-bone brick nogging, once
painted. Hipped tiled roof. In the centre is a gabled projection forming
a porch with its first floor jettied on elaborate carved brackets, with carved
strips attached to the bressummer and side uprights, also thin carved caryatid
strips above and below the centre first floor window and on each side of the
doorway and carved shields above and below the window. Iron-studded double
doors. Modern casement windows. Two storeys. Three windows.
