26/39 Fawside Green
GV II
Terrace of 3 houses, dated 1790. Rubble, dressed stone surrounds to doors,
hipped slate roof, corniced stone stacks. Each house 2 storeys, 2 windows
with central door. No. 1 has 4-panelled door with overlight, doors of 2
and 3 later. 16-pane sashes in moulded boxes, except for one ground floor
sash of no. 3, late C19 replacement. Stone panel over door of no. 2 with
inscription 'Built by Sir. Tho. Blackett. Bart. Anno Domini 1790' in
circular surround.
