Entrance screen and garden walls, probably early C18. Squared stone with ashlar
dressings; internal faces of side walls brick, in irregular English Garden Wall
Bond. Central gateway has rusticated piers with attached jambs, moulded bases
and moulded caps with ovoid finials on swept feet. Low walls, with chamfered
plinth, central pilasters and low chamfered coping, join similar outer piers
with pineapple finials. Side walls of garden, with low gabled coping, run to
southern angles of Hepscott Hall (q.v.).
