4/55 Outdoor centre and
farm buildings

Used partly as outdoor centre and partly as farm buildings but probably built
as spedulative railway hotel development. Mid C19. Snecked stone with Welsh
slate roof. 2 storeys.
In 3 sections, each with rusticated quoins and 1st floor band.
Higher 5-bay central section has flush 6-panelled door deep-set in raised
chamfered surround. Similar surrounds to 4-pane sash windows.
Lower 6-bay wings on either side have 4-panelled doors with overlight in raised
chamfered surrounds. Similar surrounds to 12-pane sash windows.
Moulded cornice. Central section has gabled roof with large moulded kneelers
and flat coping. 2 corniced end stacks. Wings are hipped at outer ends and
each has 2 corniced ridge stacks. Bare rear wall.
