Gates, gatepiers and lodge. 1887 for William Crossman. Lodge snecked stone
with Welsh slate roof. Gatepiers ashlar, gates wrought iron.

4 big square gatepiers with open lantern tops. Elaborate double gates with
large pierced wheels in the centre. Pedestrian gate to left and open panel
in wall to right have similar wheels.

Lodge, attached to left, single storey, 1-bay.Gable end towards road has
canted bay window with arched lights under pent roof. Above, a shield bearing
the date, 1887, and the monogram of William Crossman. Gabled roof with
overlapping coping and ridge stack.
